Daesh targets civilians with toxic rockets :
The Belgian International Organization for Human Rights and Development spotted a new jurist violation suffered by the inhabitants of ‘Taza Khurmatu’ in the province of Kirkuk, a city of 30,000 inhabitants. In fact, the civilians were shot by bursts of toxic rockets on March08th,2016 by the terrorist organization Daesh. The result was severe suffocations among the victims.
Our organization documentation also revealed that the rockets were carrying chlorine and other toxic substances . The injured, who were evacuated to hospitals in the Iraqi province of Kirkuk, presented different symptoms such as: burnings in the throat, shortness of bronchus , swelling and redness of the eyes . Our organization has equally documented the death of a little girl aged three years as a result of the rocket fire.
The use of chemical weapons in wars is defined as a crime by all the charters of the United Nations as stipulated in the Treaty of Rome . Accordingly, the Belgian international Organization for Human Rights and Development sent an urgent memorandum to the committee concerned with human rights and called it for direct intervention to stop this genocide and called on the committees of the United Nations to assume their responsibilities with this regard.
