The killing of seven members of a displaced family

         The Belgian Organization for Human Rights and Development calls the Iraqi government and the international coalition forces to spare civilians the effects of armed conflict. Besides, the organization also denounces and condemns, in the strongest terms, the Iraqi government aviation targeting on Friday morning:August1st,2015 a displaced family consisting of nine members  in Hawija, in the province of Kirkuk, which led immediately to their death.

         Our organization has sent a strongly worded statement to the high Commissioner:  Pablo de Greve. In this urgent memorandum, Mr. Pablo de Greve was called to open a quick investigation on the new massacre. Since that morning, the Belgian organization for human rights and development has been acting in association with the media and human rights activists to ensure the rights of the victims.
