Award for Best Human Rights Activist 2018 in the Middle East
With the participation of JAOUAD CHAHRANI, ambassador of Iraq in Belgium and the presence of a large number of Belgian politicians, the best activist award for this year was awarded to Iraqi activist KARIM HAKI. HAKI has made a strong contribution to the fight against terrorism, particularly through its companion (Alwan), which is opening up the voices of communication between the various components and ethics in Iraq. This companion has reached a large number of mosques and churches all over Iraq. This certainly influenced the decision to choose the best activist in his favor despite fierce competition this time between 100 human rights activists.
The Iraqi ambassador in Brussels delivered the award while expressing his joy and pride in our work as well as this annual event.
